The Temple of the Equinox is a Coven and Temple of Wicca located near Blairsville and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The Temple of the Equinox and Equinox Wicca are non-profit religious organizations registered in the state of Pennsylvania, and are in the process of becoming tax-exempt under the IRS code 501(c)3. The by-laws, organizational documents, and financial information are available to the public. We are currently accepting new members.

We are a traditional coven in the Equinox Tradition, a tradition created in 1999 by Lord AmonRaHa.  The Equinox tradition balances the more lunar and feminine aspects of modern Wicca with the more masculine and solar aspects of western ceremonial magick.  This balance of forces is the basis of our tradition, two halves coming together to make one whole, the whole of divinity.

The Temple of the Equinox holds regular meetings, Lunar and Solar Rituals, and Wiccan Sabbat Ceremonies within the coven for members, public rituals and workshops, along with offering classes in Wicca, Paganism, and various magickal arts. We offer opportunities for advancement in the form of initiation to coven members, and those who complete our full course will be welcome to go on to create covens of their own under the Equinox Wicca charter.

Temple of the Equinox also provides the following many Clergy services to the public, including:

The original incarnation of The Temple of the Equinox was the first Equinox Wiccan coven, created in 1999 by Lord AmonRaHa and Lady Aset Fireowl in York Pennsylvania. Today Temple of the Equinox is the third incarnation of the original though still ran by Lord AmonRaHa. It is the primary of several Equinox Wiccan Covens in the United States.

The Temple of the Equinox is also a member of the Pagan Rights Coalition and the Pagan Unity Campaign, who help to support pagans all over the country. We are proud to affiliate ourselves with the PRC and the PUC. We encourage all pagans to check out their websites, join up if you wish, and help out if possible. Our civil rights are the responsibility of everyone. Let your voice be heard with the rest of the Pagans Community united under a mutual cause.
